1,2,3-Benzotriazole is also can be named as 1H-Benzotriazole, the CAS number of it is 95-14-7, the molecular formula of it is C6H5N3, the molecular weight of it is 119.12. 1,2,3-Benzotriazole is a kind of pure strains of white crystalline solid. It can be slightly soluble in water, and can be soluble in alcohol, benzene, toluene, chloroform and other organic solvents.
1,2,3-Benzotriaozle can be used in rust preventive oil (grease) product, for copper and copper alloys of vapor corrosion inhibitor for circulating water treatment agent, automotive antifreeze, photographic antifogging agent, macromolecule stabilizer, plant growth regulator, lubricating oil additives, UV absorbers. This product is also available with a variety of scale inhibitor, algicide sterilization used together.
1,2,3-Benzotriazole produced domestically, there are three types of shapes, granular, flaky, acicular. In abroad, most do granule and flake. United States production of 1,2,3-Benzotriazole is mostly granular. However, granular, hard to dissolve, the domestic manufacturers who need 1,2,3-Benzotriazole often need to use solvent after the dissolution of placed inside the product.
The applications of 1,2,3-Benzotriazole:
1. Rust preventive oil (grease) products, copper and its alloys, silver and copper alloy corrosion effect is particularly evident, for copper and copper alloys of vapor phase inhibitor.
2. Circulating water treatment chemicals, automobile antifreeze, photographic antifogging agent, macromolecule stabilizer, plant growth regulator, lubricating oil additives.
3. 1,2,3-Benzotriazole may be done as chrome fog contain agents for chromium plating industry, prevent chrome fog and damage. Increasing the brightness of coated parts.
4. 1,2,3-Benzotriazole is also available with a variety of scale inhibitor, algicide sterilization used together.
5. 1,2,3-Benzotriazole is also excellent UV absorbers, absorption wavelength 290 to 390 nm. Can be used for outdoor coatings additives, significantly lower face (paint) fading due to UV damage.
